  • Donations to the SIBI Ministries fund are unrestricted and support the overall mission of SIBI. Such funds are essential to the daily operations of SIBI.

  • Every year the same problem prevents many potential students from enrolling at SIBI, and that is the financial commitment it takes to move to Lubbock, many times with an entire family. Most potential students do not have connections across the brotherhood to raise support, and their local congregations can’t completely support an individual or a family.

Money raised through the general scholarship fund is used to help offset some of the regular living expenses incurred by students while enrolled at SIBI.

  • This fund is designed similarly to the General Scholarship Fund. The difference is that when you contribute to the SIBI Student Fund, you specify which individual SIBI student you are supporting.

If you choose to contribute to the SIBI Student Fund online, please use the Support a Specific Student/Teacher button.

  • This fund is designed similarly to the General Scholarship Fund. The difference is that when you contribute to the AIM Student Fund, you specify which individual AIM student you are supporting.

If you choose to contribute to the AIM Student Fund online, please use the Support a Specific Student/Teacher button.

  • General fund donations made to AIM are unrestricted funds that have no specific designation for their use. They support the overall mission of AIM, allow AIM the freedom of discretionary spending, and are essential to the effective daily operation of AIM.

  • In our mission to train young men and women to take the Gospel into the world, a need has arisen. Our students need a new place to live while they train. Last year the apartments where the AIMers lived were sold, and the new owners have raised the rent. We were paying $82,360 a year (this included utilities) for 12 units for our students. This was a significant discount because the previous owners were members of the church and they saw the discounted rent as their way of partnering with AIM. We are now paying $104,400 a year plus utilities, and the new owners are raising the rent to $116,000 next year.

Please partner with AIM as we seek to build permanent housing for our students! This would put AIM in a place where we don’t have to negotiate prices every year and we can have AIMers in a safer location. With rent increasing, it’s time to have a permanent location.

  • For 25 years SIBI has been training preachers and church leaders in Ukraine, first in Donetsk and more recently in Kyiv. War caused us to move the school in 2014, and now war has forced us to alter operations once again. Our hearts ache for all of Ukraine and especially for our students, graduates, and brethren there. We pray for them and for those who have chosen the path that puts them in harm’s way.

In response to the ongoing needs of the Ukrainian Christians, SIBI's Global Relief Ministry has implemented a long-term plan of intervention to assist our brothers and sisters spiritually, physically, and emotionally. Funds raised through this effort will be used solely for continued relief efforts for the Ukrainians.

  • This fund is designed similarly to the AIM and SIBI Student Funds. The difference is that when you contribute to the SIBI Teacher Fund, you specify which individual faculty member you are supporting.

  • The Solar Player is a handheld audio player that is powered by the sun. Each Solar Player contains the entire Bible, SIBI’s core courses, World Bible School lessons, New Life Behavior lessons, and multiple hours of hymns. More than 10,000 players have been distributed across Africa, Central and South America, and Asia in the common language of the people, resulting in an exponential growth in believers.

  • General fund donations made to our International Department are unrestricted funds that have no specific designation for their use. They support the overall mission of the International Department, allow it the freedom of discretionary spending, and are essential to the effective daily operation of our international ministries.

  • SIBI partners with more than 100 Bible training schools in 40+ nations around the world.

For a school to partner with SIBI, it must adhere to a set of standards that SIBI determines for its curriculum and ministry training programs. While each school is responsible for administering itself, SIBI helps in a variety of ways to ensure solid biblical training takes place. Money raised through the Branch Assistance Fund goes to assist with the ministry training of our partner schools located around the world.

CONSIDER THESE ESTATE PLANNING OPTIONS

MAKE AN HONOR OR MEMORIAL GIFT
Celebrate the life of a friend or loved one by making a donation in their honor or memory. Your gift will be used to train preachers and ministers for decades to come.

INCLUDE THE SIBI FOUNDATION
IN YOUR WILL

Everyone should have a will, regardless of the scope of one’s assets. If you do not create one, your state has one already made for you, but it likely will not honor your priorities and wishes. The SIBI Foundation can guide you to professionals who can help you create a will.

INCLUDE THE SIBI FOUNDATION
IN A TRUST

Irrevocable charitable trusts offer some significant advantages. Investigate the option that best fits your estate planning needs. Substantial income tax and estate tax savings can often be achieved through a properly structured trust. In some cases, you can donate a significant amount to SIBI without lowering the amount that you wish your heirs to receive.

GIVE LIFE INSURANCE
Making a donation to the SIBI Foundation through a life insurance policy might provide tax savings for you now, and it can provide significant financial benefit to the school. Making the SIBI Foundation a beneficiary of a life insurance policy may also reduce your estate, effectively reducing or eliminating estate taxes.

GIVE AND RECEIVE WITH CHARITABLE ANNUITIES
A charitable gift annuity is one way to secure a fixed income for life while enjoying a significant income tax benefit and a possible reduction in estate taxes.

DONATE REAL ESTATE OR SECURITIES
There are often significant tax savings in donating appreciated property or securities to the SIBI Foundation. Donating property during your lifetime or directing the property to Sunset in your estate plan has the effect of reducing the size of the estate and may reduce or eliminate capital gains and other income taxes as well as estate taxes.

MISSIONS MEMORY PLAZA

The Missions Memory Plaza is located just outside the Bruce Thornton World Missions Center on the SIBI campus. It is a special place that is dedicated specifically to honoring the mission work of those who have unselfishly given of themselves. Great missionaries in our brotherhood are honored with their names and mission fields engraved in capstones atop a decorative wall or in a special section of our brick walkway.

There is still space available to add honorees. SIBI invites you to recognize and celebrate the special missionaries in your life by purchasing a capstone or brick to be added to the Missions Memory Plaza. Download our brochure to learn more and to place your order.
