The Arlington Heights Church of Christ located in Corpus Christi, Texas, is actively seeking a dynamic and talented individual to serve the congregation as Youth Minister. The congregation has a current membership of approximately 200, with an average Sunday morning attendance of approximately 140 to 160 and the youth group attendance of approximately 20 to 25 teenagers during 2018. The youth minister needs to be spiritually mature, energetic and passionate about sharing God's word with all people. The youth minister should be a skilled communicator who can connect with the youth group in a way that encourages their spiritual growth.

We prefer an individual with:
- a minimum of 1-2 years of youth minister experience or just starting out after graduating
- a family who is supportive and involved in the church
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Bible and/or Ministry from an accredited Church of Christ affiliated University

An applicant should have an in-depth knowledge of God’s Word, hold fast to Biblical truths, and be able to effectively communicate those truths for the edification of the congregation and growth of the church. He should be sensitive to the diversity of the congregation, relate well to young people and be effective in handling family and marriage issues. Under the oversight of the elders, he and his family must be active in church ministries and in the lives of individual members of the congregation.

A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Bible or Ministry is an asset, and the candidate should be a Bible scholar and well-read. Salary and benefits are negotiable, and commensurate with experience and education.
