If the idea of guiding children in need to the right way of living sounds appealing to you, Children’s Homes, Inc. in Paragould, Ark. may be the ministry for you. Currently, we have an opening for Houseparents.
Candidates must be faithful members of the churches of Christ, and must be a married couple willing to work together to provide a stable home for children in need. The housemother must be committed to providing an environment that enables children to grow, and must be willing to work with our professional staff, including eight other housemothers. The housefather should be a man who provides spiritual leadership in the home. He may maintain employment off campus or on campus, if positions are available.
The housemother position offers training, personal support, competitive salary, health insurance, 401K (Company invests 7 percent of employee's earnings in fund regardless of employee’s contribution), 12 weeks paid time off per year. Additional benefits include housing in one of nine well-maintained family homes which feature private living quarters for houseparents, paid utilities, food and transportation provided. Housefathers who work on campus receive the same benefits, with the exception of paid time off. They receive six weeks paid time off.
