Associate Minister

Sierra Vista Church of Christ

Job Announcement:
Searching for a “Journey Partner” who will serve as an Associate Minister for the Sierra Vista Church of Christ in Sierra Vista, Arizona. This is an entry-level position. The Journey Partner must be Spirit-led, demonstrate Godly character, Biblically sound, exhibit a strong relationship with Christ and must maintain Christian Discipline.
The Journey Partner must exhibit a vibrant Biblical marriage and family life; the husband and wife must function as a team. He must demonstrate a passion for Evangelism and Outreach. He must exhibit abilities for: team building, coaching groups, working with families and youth. The desired target audience is the immediate Church family and our community. (Mark 16:15-16)
The Journey Partner must serve with a leadership team of elders, a minister, and deacons in developing and maintaining programs supporting and strengthening the Bride of Christ, and taking the gospel to the community.
The Sierra Vista Church of Christ currently has three elders, a minister, five deacons, two mission leaders, a full-time secretary and a congregation of approximately 130 members who hunger to serve. (I Thessalonians 5:11-14)

Selection Process: Please send an email to the SVCOC Elders indicating that you are interested in applying for this position. The Elders will then request a resume that should include the following: contact information, employment/school history, skills and abilities, and references. We will be conducting one-on-one interviews by teleconferences and Skype. At the appropriate time, we'll request video media sermons and/or classes taught by you, which then may lead to a visit with our Church Family. Fact: We are located in the beautiful part of Southeastern Arizona, sitting at the base of the Huachuca Mountains - elevation 5000'. We share this area with an Army installation Fort Huachuca, a historical Army Post.

Pulpit Minister

Gateway Church of Christ

The Gateway Church of Christ is currently seeking a minister whose primary focus will be preaching, supporting the church vision and teaching. He will be a teammate who will unite with our current leadership to accomplish Gateway’s vision and purpose. The minister will be capable of helping the entire congregation in its desire to mature spiritually.

As pulpit minister, his messages will be inspired, timely and audience-appropriate. He will exhibit a proven knowledge of the Word and a passion to develop Christ followers. He will work with our worship team in coordinating services that bring worshipers before the throne of God. His creativity and resourcefulness will be used to support the work for the vision for Gateway and to inspire the congregation.

The minister will have excellent interpersonal skills, leading by establishing relationships and empowering others for results. He will have strong organizational and planning skills, evidenced by his ability to effectively map out ministerial objectives and plan congregational purpose. He must have a demonstrated capability and a desire to teach adult Bible classes. He will support the adult education team led by the Deacons in developing rich, meaningful classes that will encourage spiritual growth in members and guests.

The minister will be a man of personal integrity who is Spirit-filled and Spirit-led. He will have a strong marriage and family relationship and a good reputation within his community, home congregation and the brotherhood. He will be spiritually mature and will be known as a prayer warrior.

Gateway has a campus in the Town of Queen Creek, AZ in a new development area known as the Villages at Queen Creek. Our campus is adjacent to a busy family-oriented town park. Our location in Queen Creek is in an excellent evangelistic location which borders a multitude of neighborhoods and in close proximity to Queen Creek downtown.

The Ave T Church of Christ in Temple, TX is looking for a part-time pulpit minister. We are a small, primarily elderly congregation with much love to share. Our new minister will need to have some supplemental income or retirement income. We are searching for someone who will preach and teach the Lord's Word in love and faithfulness. Pulpit Minister

Sonora Church of Christ

The Sonora Church of Christ In Sonora, Texas is looking for a pulpit minister that also has a compassion for children and a children’s ministry. Sonora is located on I-10 west of San Antonio and US 277 south of San Angelo. Technology skills are a plus and needs to be willing to be involved in community activities. The church puts out an electronic bulletin, has a radio program every Sunday morning which rebroadcasts the previous week’s message and has three wide screen televisions with computer hook ups. The church also has a Wednesday night outreach program during the school year for children from PK to high school. The compensation package that includes monthly stipend, housing and mileage are all negotiable. We are seeking a bi-lingual Preacher who can present God's Word in Spanish. Our Spanish speaking members meet in the same facility, but in a different auditorium. We have 50 to 60 in attendance every Sunday.
Looking for an enthusiastic man who is sound in God's Word to help this work grow. We have incredible opportunity for growth.
Must have a genuine love for people and willing to evangelize our community and be involved in our community
Needs to have strong communication skills and willing to work with others
