Young Adult and Family Minister

The Anchorage Church of Christ in Anchorage, Alaska is seeking a qualified full-time Young Adult and
Family Minister with a sincere love of God to serve with the congregation as we work to reach out to our
local community, young families, college students, post high school, military community and church
families to grow in our labor for the Lord. Since we are located between two military installations, we
desire a minister with military experiences or veteran who understands and knows how to reach and
work with active duty, and retired military members and their families. The Young Adult and Family
Minister will work under the direction of the Elders and collaborate with our pulpit minister.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Someone who is biblically and doctrinally sound with a proven ability to minister, teach, organize, plan,
and conduct personal counseling as well as lead evangelist outreach programs for ages 18-35.
Preaching ability is required but not expected to be a primary duty for this position.
Help plan and implement programs and activities for the spiritual and numerical growth of our
congregation

Qualifications:
Energetic/outgoing personality who is able to communicate easily with people of all ages, genders and
cultures, visit the sick and the shut-in members
Have a passion to equip saints to save lost souls and a perform outreach to their peers.
Must be married, (children preferred) with a good family relationship, and a wife that is willing to
participate in church ministries.

Education:
An Associate’s Degree (minimum) or Bachelors Degree with Bible major (Preferred)
Counseling Coursework or Training (advanced/experienced preferred)
Computer Skills, MS Office Suite, social media, (email, Twitter, Facebook)
Must pass a background check.

Details: The South Greenville Church of Christ is located in Greenville, North Carolina. This is a new work. We are seeking an energetic, hardworking minister/preacher. He needs to have a strong marriage, good family relationship, and a wife that is actively participating in church ministries.

Greenville is a college community (East Carolina University) with a large tertiary health care center. The town is located about 90 minutes from Raleigh.

Our mission is to “Develop Man According to God’s Plan”. We would love to reach out to our community to show our love for God while spreading the good news of Christ through His Word and our example.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor or Masters Degree from an accredited Christian college or university. Candidate should be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic, good organizational skills, and feel comfortable using modern forms of technology.
