Through the International Studies division, SIBI has been proactive in establishing and assisting ministry training schools around the world. Sunset's relationship with these schools differs based on the needs and capabilities of each school. Branch Schools Branch Schools are administered directly and fully by Sunset. While a partnership agreement involves a sharing of responsibilities with the parties involved in the Ministry Training Contract, Sunset takes the lead responsibilities. A Branch School may be a school established by Sunset in partnership with others or may be an existing school that desires a Sunset leadership. It must meet and maintain the highest standards set by Sunset, including curriculum, quality faculty, student standards, adequate housing and financing, and brotherhood accountability. Current Branch Schools: - Barnaul, Russia
- Donestsk, Ukraine
- Athens, Greece
- Miami, Florida, USA
- Toluca, Mexico
Associate Schools Associate Schools agree to meet the standards for preacher training proposed by Sunset and adopt a comparable preacher training curriculum as the one used in the Sunset Branch Schools. The Associate School is fully responsible to administer the school. Sunset may supplement some needs of the school as agreed in the Ministry Training Contract. The Associate School is usually an existing school which desires a close working relationship with Sunset. It may also be a former Sunset Branch School that has grown in its ability to administer and finance the school.Current Associate Schools: - Quito, Ecuador

Applicant Schools All potential Branch and Associate schools start as Applicant Schools. These are schools that have applied for a partnership and have been accepted. There is the expectation that they will either become a Branch School or Associate School. Together, Sunset and the Applicant School begin the development of the school to achieve the standards set by Sunset for partnership. Attention is given to staff and curriculum development, policy definition, funding, facility selection, brotherhood promotion, and student recruitment. The school remains an Applicant School for a minimum of one year or until all standards have been adequately accomplished and it begins to function effectively.Current Applicant Schools: - Lusaka, Zambia
