Among the many things Norman will be remembered for are his devotion to his wife, his dedication as a teacher, his love for music and singing, his self-taught proficiency in Biblical languages, and his heart for helping students in need. 

Norman is survived by one sister, three daughters, seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, many nephews and nieces, and a multitude of friends. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the "Norman Gipson Student Scholarship Fund" at Sunset International Bible Institute. This fund has been established at SIBI in memory of the great love Norman had for preaching and preacher training. All memorial gifts to this fund will be acknowledged to the family.
