The Seneca church of Christ in Seneca, South Carolina (http://www.senecachurchofchrist.org/) is seeking a full time preacher/evangelist to teach and preach sound biblical doctrine and perform other duties as required by a full time church ministry. Average Sunday worship attendance is 150-160 and the congregation is currently served by 9 deacons and 4 elders. Seneca has a population of about 8,100 and is located in the foothills of the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains near Clemson University. Members of the congregation live in multiple locations within the surrounding Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson, South Carolina Combined Statistical Area which has a population of about 1.3 million.

We are seeking an individual who displays scriptural and personal integrity, is self-motivated, organized, and effective as a teacher and preacher. Minimum qualifications include a degree from an accredited Christian university and pulpit preaching experience. Duties would include preaching Sunday morning and evening sermons and teaching Sunday and Wednesday bible classes on a regular basis; assisting in development of plans for teaching and preaching; participating in the edification, evangelism, and outreach ministries; assisting with Lads to Leaders and Vacation Bible School; visiting the sick, shut-ins, and members who have strayed; conducting and/or attending weddings, funerals, fellowships, meetings, etc; and upholding / supporting the worship and organization of the church.
