Job Requirements
Coordinate Bible classes, curriculum, activities for Grades 7-12.
Worship ministry - coordinate the Sunday morning worship services with the pulpit minister
Coordinating and communicating with parents insofar as plans, money, etc.
Willing to work under the guidance of the elders.
Willing to substitute for the pulpit minister on occasion
Coordinate mission trips with the deacon of missions
Have at least one activity each quarter with 5th & 6th grade kids.
Have at least one activity every 6 months for K - 4th grade kids.
Willing to undergo a background check - All of our elders & deacons have undergone background checks to protect our young people.

Mid-County church of Christ in Troy, Ohio, is seeking a full-time Youth and Family Minister to help us on our path to growth. We are a congregation of about 180 loving Christians with a full-time pulpit minister, 5 elders and 8 deacons. We desire to help our youth and young families grow and remain faithful in today's hectic world, and to reach those in our community who do not yet know their Lord.
Duties: Focus will be Youth/Family ministry (teens to early 30's, single and married, with and without children). Should feel comfortable when called on to preach. Help plan and teach regularly in Youth/Young Adult curriculum. Help plan activities/outreach for Youth/Young Adults. Work with Youth Committee on planning and direction of activities.
Qualifications: Male, prefer married, graduate of Christian college with degree beneficial to the work, or brotherhood school of preaching, prefer 3-5 years experience in ministry.
Expectations: Regular participation in worship/classes, able to teach and preach, possess a heart for the work and knowledge/application of God's word (1 Tim 3; Titus 1), self-motivated, organized, a good example, demonstrating integrity in Christian life and marriage (Rom 12; Gal 5:22-23), able to work with the team of elders, deacons and minister, outgoing, a good communicator, interest in working with/reaching/teaching Teens, Young Adults, Young Marrieds.
Salary/Benefits: Commensurate with experience, with health insurance, housing allowance, retirement plan available.
